OCS FFA Members Win 3rd Place at National FFA Convention

From October 21 - 26, Onondaga Central FFA Members Ian Powell and Francesca Lasinski attended the National FFA Convention & Expo in Indianapolis, IN. They represented New York in the National FFA Agriscience Fair competition and won 3rd place in the Division 2 Environmental Services and Natural Resource Systems category.
 
In addition to competing and being recognized for their achievement, Powell and Lasinski had the chance to participate in a multitude of opportunities along with 70,000 other FFA members from around the nation. They toured Purdue University, the Ohio State Department of Agriculture, attended leadership workshops and networked with representatives from the agriculture industry.
